Evangelical Tape Distributions take place in local migrant labor camps. Many of the migrants from Southern Mexico live in isolated rural villages and speak pre-Columbian tribal languages and little Spanish. We will participate in this fascinating activity.
This is the neighborhood that labor camp occupants live in. Each family in the labor camp gets its own 144 square foot apartment. They have no running water and limited electricity. They are similar in size to houses in their home villages.
Large barrels seen outside each apartment hold the family's water supply. At the upper right, you can see evidence that the residents have access to some of the luxuries of modern civilization.
Besides hard work, we will have the opportunity to interact with some of the local children. This one is adorable.
