This is the Aqua Viva main building that you see as you come
up the road to the facility. You can't miss it during the day.
A colonia, a small village of houses built on small lots with cast
off materials such as discarded garage doors, is developing is developing next
door to Aqua Viva. The residents are migrants from southern Mexico where
wages are only half the $7 per day they can earn in Baja California.

Since the weather was pleasant all week, we made every meal into
a picnic.

One of our major projects was waterproofing the foundation and
improving aesthetics of the main building by installing a rock flower flower bed
its entire length.

The final result was a great improvement over what we started
with.
